Actress Lisa Rinna has found herself embroiled in a lawsuit with the representatives of a paparazzi photographer after using the images on her Instagram feed without the photographer’s permission. Rinna has said that she always saw the relationship with the paparazzi as “symbiotic” and never restricted access to them to take photographs of her and her family, the Days of Our Lives actress told the LA Times. Many Windows based video users have been concerned lately regarding security flaws which led Apple to pull all support for Quicktime for Windows, with the Federal Government going so far as recommending that Windows users completely remove it from their system. Adobe have today announced a response to this issue, declaring that they are adding native support for ProRes into their products. That Adobe have responded so quickly tells me that they’ve probably had this in the works for a while....

NVIDIA’s researchers came up with an impressive algorithm that’s able to generate realistic faces. Some of them are so realistic that you may have a hard time figuring out that they were computer-generated. If you’re up for a challenge, there’s now a website where you can test how many fake faces you can distinguish from real ones. It can get more difficult than you may think. The website Which Face Is Real is has been developed by Jevin West and Carl Bergstrom at the University of Washington....
